Ethiopia Gesha Village illubabor Forest #02 (Natural)
The illubabor Forest Variety, this disease-resistant variety was made from an expedition to the Illubabor coffee forest in 1974.
Gesha Village Estate divided into eight sub-farms. This “Gaylee” Lot named come from The southeast-facing kebele (neighborhood) adjacent to the farm, officially named ‘Gaylee-Gesha,’ where Gesha Village’s source of water comes from, the Yetgordon river. This lot has a lively flavor profile of fruits like Peach, intense sweetness of Honey and Floral.
These special micro-lots, accounting for 15 percent of the production, exhibit superior flavor attributes and excellent cup quality, scoring 88 points or above on the SCA’s 100-point scale.
